Frog Rock, Pepper Tree, Dowie Doole and Majella took out the four trophies. In 2003 New Zealand was included in the Label Design Awards and the event increased awareness of the importance of professional design when planning the development of the wine brand.

2012 saw the re-branding of the event and the inclusion of wine companies of all sizes.  There are three major classes: Boutique ie 500 ton and under, Over 500 Ton and a Open Class in order that all sizes can compete against each other.
