Argentinean Hector Durigutti is one of the first Argentinean winemakers to enter the Six Nations Wine Challenge for this year. Judge Fabricio Portelli is confident that the list he has established will again take home some trophies for his country.
From the Durigutti web site: We are the family Durigutti, vine-growers and winemakers. A family with the tradition of European culture updated to the wonderful life of Argentina.
Our family has three generations in America and professionally we have challenges ahead in different parts of the world where we bring together our origins, our training and experience to achieve wines that excite.
Today, these challenges carry forward with Hector and Pablo Durigutti, winemakers of profession, conviction and passion.
Hector says” “They are highly valued in terms formed at the European school, applying to the orthodox traditions, modern practices which stem from my experience in more than 25 successful projects in Argentina and other countries. Don Martino, Melipal, Rebirth and Senior Ants are some of so many.
My vision is to achieve in Argentina a range of expressions in single vineyards wines, in blends of terroirs, and in the constant challenges that the company poses to me.
