To decide the winning bottle label this year all 1000 of the wine show entries were judged by the workers. Wines are made to be sold and to be drunk and the brand needs to be noticed! Wine is purchased by Sommeliers and members of the public therefore I put the Stewards (Sommeliers) and the back room workers (the public) and some Committee Members to the task of picking one, just one bottle, that caught their eye and their interest as their next purchase. Not only well designed but easy to spot in the crowded market.
The CCL $5000.00 production prize was thus decided in the Stewards’ room the night before the wine judging.
By coincidence Clyde Park of Bannockburn, Victoria entered five wine show classes and won five medals! The trophy for their packaging makes it the round half dozen. Congratulations!
