About CRAFT’D EVENTS
Sue Duncan designed Craft’d as her own craft product from several decades of experience and leadership in the business of events and hospitality.
Starting out with her own event company in Wellington in the 1990s, Sue has craft’d hundreds of events for boutique, large-scale, commercial, private, local through to international occasions and audiences. She is a board member of the New Zealand Events Association.
After selling her event company Soiree to Uno Loco and serving three years as their Business Development Manager, Sue purchased the Boutique Wine Festival in December 2017. In 2018 this was rebranded to Craft’d, resetting the purpose of the event to showcase authentic craft products across New Zealand’s winemaking, brewing and distilling industries.
Craft’d champions and showcases small, emerging and established boutique producers as well as acting as a distributor for small production beverages, focussing on those exhibiting at the Craft’d Wine and Spirits Festival on 21 July 2019 at The GridAKL, and the Craft’d beer festival in September
Craft’d Events New Zealand has partnered with the Australian & New Zealand Boutique Wine Show to cross promote our 2 unique businesses dedicated to the promotion of all things Boutique.
Previously known as The New Zealand Boutique Wine Festival, THE CRAFT’D WINE + SPIRITS FESTIVAL 2019 is happening on Sunday 21st July in Auckland’s Wynyard Quarter. This event was previously held (for the last six years) at the Imperial Buildings in Auckland’s CBD – however with the inclusion of boutique Kiwi spirits and beer, the Boutique Wine Fest dons a new name and more inclusive focus!
